What is Dr. Cocoa® Children’s Pain + Fever?
Dr. Cocoa® Children’s Pain + Fever is an acetaminophen oral suspension (160 mg per 5 mL) that temporarily reduces fever and relieves minor aches and pains from the common cold, flu, headache, sore throat, and toothache.
Made with real cocoa, it delivers a comforting chocolate flavor kids enjoy.
Why chocolate?
Taste is one of the toughest challenges in children’s medicine. Using real cocoa helps make dosing easier—with a warm, familiar flavor kids don’t fight.
What ages can use this product?
For children ages 2–11. For children under 2 years or under 24 lbs, ask a doctor before use.
How to Use
How much should I give my child?
Use the weight-based dosing chart on the Drug Facts label. If weight is unknown, use age. Only use the included dosing cup for accurate measurement.
How often can I dose?
Every 4 hours while symptoms last. Do not give more than 5 doses in 24 hours.
Do I need to shake the bottle?
Yes — shake well before using.
Can adults use this product?
This formula is designed and dosed for children. Adults should use products labeled for adult use.

Does this product contain real cocoa?
Yes — Dr. Cocoa® is flavored with real cocoa. If your child has sensitivities to chocolate or cocoa, speak with your pediatrician before use.
Are there artificial dyes?
No. This product is dye-free.
Can I use this with other medicines?
Do not use with any other product containing acetaminophen. If your child is taking other medications, ask a healthcare professional before use.
What should I do if I think I gave too much?
Seek medical help immediately or contact Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222. Acetaminophen overdose can cause severe liver damage.
